The Val Belluna Panoramic Ring winds along the hillsides of the Belluno Prealps and the Belluno and Feltre Dolomites. It offers wide and spectacular views of the Piave valley and the Dolomites; it goes for long stretches in the woods that cover the northern slopes of the left Piave; it crosses meadows and pastures of the mountain, passes through ancient rural villages and the two main towns of the valley, Belluno and Feltre.
120 km long, with a height difference of about 3100 m, the route requires the support of a GPX track, given its length and tortuosity. It takes place mostly on secondary roads, fields and forest roads. It offers great stimuli and emotions to those who, with good legs and a suitable means of transport, prefer to ride far from the most known and frequented paths and explore secluded and little known natural territories.
Before leaving you should carefully evaluate the weather, the efficiency of the bike and your training, taking into account that, especially in the left Piave, you ride for long stretches in valleys and lonely areas away from support points.
