The route runs for most of the way along the old railway and partly also along the ancient royal road in the stretch between San Vito di Cadore and Cortina d'Ampezzo. The starting point of the cycle path is the Calalzo di Cadore railway station, we proceed to Pieve di Cadore, after crossing the town, we find the characteristic bridge over the state road. With well-placed signs, continue towards Valle di Cadore and, passing through historic but well-lit tunnels and occasionally encountering the typical structures of the former stations. You reach Borca di Cadore, from where a large clearing opens up and you can see the splendid rocky peaks of the Antelao and Pelmo mountains. Once we arrive in San Vito di Cadore, we follow the Boite river on the traces of the royal road, immersed in a spectacular landscape we arrive at the beginning of Cortina d'Ampezzo.
