Val Canzoi: located between the municipalities of Feltre and Cesiomaggiore, at the geographical center of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park. From the hamlet of Soranzèn, not far from the artificial lake of the Stua, there are three cliffs: "Sass dei Corz", "Tamberella", "Covolade".
Falesia “Sass dei Corz”
This small falesia, is located about 2 km from the entrance of Val Canzoi, a picturesque gateway to the Park of the Belluno Dolomites.
The stone has two micro-sectors, the first is overlooking the road, while the second is reached by taking the very short path that starts from the parking lot.
The excellent state and the convenience of access are the strengths of the "Sass dei Corz".
Falesia "Tamberella"
Falesia immersed in the woods of Val Canzoi, has a suspended sector which is accessed via a short steel cable.
Access: from Soranzen enter the Val di Canzoi, after the Orsera restaurant, continue for about 1 km until you reach the picnic area "Al Preton" and park. Cross the bridge and follow the path on the left that crosses a meadow, arrived at the aqueduct, follow it for about 100m. at a yellow signal on a pinata will start on the left an ascending track, follow it for about 15 min to get to the base of the cliff.
Falesia "Covolade"
Despite the cliff of "Covolade" develops on a wall of grey limestone in excellent quality, the length of the approach discourages some.
Access: From Soranzen, go through the whole Val Canzoi to the former Albergo Boz (park before the ban!). Continue along the paved road to Lago della Stua, continue for about 2km until you reach a hairpin bend on the right, then follow the CI signs for Erera Brendol, trail 802. Take the dirt road until a second hairpin bend with open space, leave here the road to favor a track that in 5 minutes leads to the wall.
