The cooperative dairy of Camolino is located in the municipality of Sospirolo and is located at the gates of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park and in particular on the road that leads to the valley of Mis with its lake, the waterfall of Soffia, Cadini del Brenton and the many nature trails is an area of great tourist attraction.
Founded in 1941, it is one of the small dairies in the province of Belluno, the one that collects and transforms the greatest amount of milk while preserving the tastes and flavors of the past. The fact that the few farms left on the territory in need of help are run by young people is a guarantee of continuity for the dairy but also of safeguarding the territory.
Each cheese produced has its own peculiarity: "Casel" fresh or semi-fat sold fresh or aged, "Casel Mezzanello" 3 months sweet and savory, "Cornia" made with unpasteurized milk, pressed type as "Asiago". But not only...also caciotta, cremino, ricotta and butter! Do not forget the "Camolino" also known simply as "Whole milk": the most famous and typical cheese of the dairy.
There is the possibility to buy its products on Saturday morning at the agri-market of Belluno.
