The museum houses equipment related to the trades of the past, collected by its creator over the years with loving care: tools for the haymaking, spinning, working tools of the blacksmith, shoemaker, stonemason, carpenter and sharker.
The tools and objects of the past that constitute the ethnographic collection of Fioretto Bortot, were collected by him with passion and with the will to gather the material testimonies of the history of farmers and craftsmen of Valbelluna and the surrounding valleys, between the end of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century.
There are about 3000 cataloged objects, each put on display to suggest ancient knowledge and skills and not to forget where we come from.
