The first regatta of the Trofeo Caorle X2 XTutti will be the coastal La Ottanta, in its eleventh edition, which will take place on the weekend of April 5-6 on the Caorle-Grado-Pirano route.
For the first Adriatic offshore event, nearly 80 boats will enter the water, a number close to the record, divided into the categories X2 and XTutti, racing both in Free class and with the ORC, IRC, or Mocra rating systems.
La Ottanta is a regatta that takes place along the coast, featuring a very technical course thanks to the mandatory passages in Grado, Trieste, and Pirano, making it interesting both as training for La Duecento and La Cinquecento, and for the growing number who decide to tackle long-distance races for the first time.
The start will be given on Saturday, April 5 at 9:00 AM from the stretch of sea in front of the scenic seafront walkway of Caorle. The time limit for completing the course is set by 12:00 PM on Sunday, April 6, followed by the award ceremony at the Darsena dell’Orologio.
