Surrealismo e Fantastico. The infinite madness of dreams
The exhibition, curated by Matteo Vanzan and produced by the MV Arte agency of Vicenza, does not aim to be a historical development exhibition, but is more distinctly thematic and conceptual, shifting the cultural investigation towards a spiritual world that brings us back to childhood, to magic, and to the often hypnotic world of dreams. Painters, enthusiasts, musicians, poets, directors, and writers have drawn heavily from the greatest source of inspiration: the unconscious.
From Vincent Van Gogh to the present day, the human soul, often understood as a state of being, has been filtered by artists and creatives capable of gifting history with some of the most significant works straddling magic and fantasy, grotesque and mysterious mysticism, madness and dreams.
This exhibition aims to celebrate the primordial instinct, certain that the creative spark will never cease to ignite the fuse of artistic experimentation that finds the greatest ally of all time: thought.
The exhibition is in collaboration with the MACA Museum of Anagni (Fr) and the Antonio Del Donno Archive.
