The Venetian Coast extends from the Venetian lagoon, parallel to the coast of the Gulf of Venice, to the mouth of the Isonzo River, for about 127 km, of which 68.5 in the Veneto Region and 58.5 in the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region. It consists of a multitude of mostly natural canals and crosses areas of dry land and lagoon areas. Commercial traffic has long ceased, but the waterway is fully navigable by pleasure boats. The excursion will propose the discovery of the naturalistic oasis of Vallevecchia, La Brussa, and part of the Caorle Lagoon, with a visit to the fishing Casoni of Caorle and tasting of typical products such as fried fish from the lagoon and wines from the inland Venetian wineries.
